Profile
I am a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 30 years’ post-qualification experience specialising in neurological rehabilitation, complex needs, and community-based practice. I have worked across a wide range of clinical settings with adults and young people presenting with complex physical, neurological, cognitive, and mental health needs, including acquired brain injury, spinal injury, cerebral palsy, amputations, and behaviours that challenge.
Alongside my associate work, I maintain my clinical expertise through private practice, case management, and managing a local occupational therapy caseload. I currently work as a Case Manager, supporting clients both pre- and post-settlement, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support providers to deliver coordinated, person-centred rehabilitation programmes that promote independence and long-term outcomes.
I am recognised for my ability to produce clear, robust, and evidence-based assessments and repost. My work is characterised by thoughtful clinical reasoning and attention to detail.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am the Director of DOTS Training and Consultancy Ltd, delivering professional training and consultancy within health, social services, and housing services as well as organisations and business providing support and advice on disability access. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertake training to ensure my practice remains current, evidence-based, and aligned with best practice.
