Notable career achievements include: advising the government on policy for the introduction of the Mental Health in Schools programme, leading on the introduction of non-medical prescribing in various NHS Trusts and leading an NHS education programme across London for CAMHS nursing.

Regular career professional development for current clinical and expert witness work.

Extensive clinical and leadership experience: Over 20 years in NHS CAMHS, including roles as Associate Clinical Director and Psychological Therapies Lead, with a focus on multi-agency work, education and whole community approaches to mental health.

Specialist in ADHD assessment and treatment: Thirteen years of independent non-medical prescribing practice including leading and supervising multi-disciplinary teams, managing medication clinics and large caseloads for young people with ADHD.

Diverse therapeutic skills: Training and long-term experience in psychological therapies such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused work, and forensic risk assessment to support young people with mental health problems or neurodivergence and their families.

Broad NHS experience: Roles ranging from staff nurse in a young offenders’ institute to senior clinical and leadership positions across multiple CAMHS teams, with expertise in youth justice, neurodevelopmental assessment, and digital care pathways.
