La Plagne Accessible Skiing
What an incredible week we've just had on our accessible ski trip to La Plagne! This gem of the French Alps delivered far beyond our expectations, endless groomed runs, breathtaking mountain panoramas, cosy Savoyard flavours, and above all, truly inclusive experiences so every member of our group could hit the slopes and feel the thrill.
A massive thank you to Oxygène Ski School, the brilliant, family-friendly English-speaking school that's been pioneering ski lessons in La Plagne for over 25 years! Their specialist adaptive skiing programmes, tailored equipment (including modern sit-skis and standing options), and dedicated instructors turned what might have been tricky into sheer joy for everyone. From expert guidance on the snow to patient support getting everyone kitted out and confident - their passion for making skiing accessible shone through in every magical moment. Thank you for believing in us and opening the mountains to all. You're transforming lives, one turn at a time!
From the moment we arrived, the crisp alpine air and warm welcome set the tone. La Plagne's vast Paradiski domain (over 225 km of linked pistes!) proved the perfect playground - with a huge variety of blue and red runs that suited all abilities, plus welcoming instructors keeping every session safe, supportive, and open to the whole group.
We spent our days exploring the incredible terrain, from gentle, wide blues around Plagne Centre and Belle Plagne for relaxed cruising, to longer, more exciting reds with epic views across the Tarentaise Valley. Fresh snow, blue skies, pine forests, and those iconic high-altitude panoramas made every run feel like pure paradise.
This accessible ski trip reminded us why we love these adventures: pushing limits, sharing the stoke of the slopes, and creating memories that last a lifetime, all made possible by Oxygène Ski School. La Plagne, you've been magical. Thank you for the powder, the views, the flavours, and the inclusive spirit.
