Catherine joins the senior management team at MS&A as Head of Liability Services, in addition to her role as a Nursing Expert.

With more than 35 years of clinical experience and over 13 years as an Expert Witness, Catherine brings extensive expertise to the role. She has considerable experience in preparing Liability reports, with an equal balance of Claimant and Defendant instructions, giving her a well-rounded perspective on medico-legal matters.

Catherine currently works in General Practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) and serves as Lead for Infection Prevention and Control. In her new position with MS&A, she will provide mentorship, guidance, and support to MS&A’s Liability experts, helping to maintain the highest standards of report writing and professional practice across the team.

Known for her attention to detail, Catherine is committed to ensuring that all Liability reports produced by MS&A are of the highest possible quality. As an individually vetted member of the Expert Witness Institute (EWI), she remains up to date with the latest case law, industry developments, and professional standards.

Outside of her professional commitments, Catherine enjoys gardening and is currently creating a new garden at her Wiltshire home with her husband, Rob having got married earlier this year. Together, they are kept busy by their three children and two dogs. They also enjoy travelling and spending time with family and friends.
