Profile
I am an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner currently working within a busy GP practice across two sites, where I am a core member of the senior leadership team. I practise autonomously, assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients presenting with both routine and urgent same-day clinical needs.
I am an Independent Nurse Prescriber and have completed advanced health assessment training. I currently act as palliative care lead for two surgeries, chairing Gold Standards Framework (GSF) meetings and working closely with external multidisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality, patient-centred care.
My clinical practice includes assessment and management of infections, wounds, cancer-related concerns and palliative needs, alongside the investigation of undifferentiated symptoms and suspected malignancy. I regularly assess skin lesions for suspected skin cancer and initiate referrals via appropriate pathways, including 2-week wait referrals, ensuring all relevant investigations are completed in line with best practice.
