Profile
I am a Registered Children’s Nurse with over 25 years’ experience.
Currently I practice as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Consultant for Complex Care and Case Manager.
I bring a wealth of experience to nursing both children and adults with complex care needs in community settings. I have advanced skills in assessment of needs, risk assessing, person-centred care planning. I have extensive experience in training, leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, setting up and managing care packages.
My clinical experience comes from working as a Senior Nurse within the NHS specialising clinically in children and young people with complex and palliative care needs from a wide range of specialities including brain injury, congenital conditions, severe disabilities, epilepsy, tracheostomies, ventilation and enteral feeding.
I have held several Senior Nursing roles both within the NHS and private sector in both clinical and managerial roles, leading and managing nursing services as well as driving measurable improvements in CQC ratings, patient safety, patient experience and service efficiency.
I have been practising within Medical Aesthetics for 10 years and have completed the level 7aesthetics qualification. I own and run two aesthetic clinics, prescribing, and administering various injectable aesthetic products and skin treatments. I also previously owned and ran a training company, delivering courses on various facial procedures across the country.
I have undertaken medicolegal training and I am aware of my responsibilities as an expert witness under the Civil Procedure Rules.
