Profile

I am an experienced Independent Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of clinical practice across public and private sectors. I specialise in working with individuals with physical, cognitive, and learning disabilities, delivering personalised, evidence-based interventions that promote independence, safety, and long-term wellbeing.

My core expertise includes complex housing adaptations, equipment provision, care planning, and high-risk manual handling, supported by my qualification as a certified Moving and Handling Trainer. I have extensive experience working with both adolescents and adults, particularly in cases involving long-term or life-changing conditions.

I work in close collaboration with case managers and solicitors on catastrophic injury cases, providing detailed functional assessments and formulating both short- and long-term care plans. I advise on appropriate equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications tailored to each client’s needs and goals. I also design and deliver vocational rehabilitation programmes that support individuals in returning to work or exploring meaningful alternative pathways.

As an expert witness, I produce clear, objective, and evidence-based reports that inform legal proceedings. These reports cover functional ability, care requirements, housing suitability, and rehabilitation potential, offering clinical insight to support the litigation process.

Having lived in multiple countries and worked extensively in London, I bring a global perspective and deep cultural awareness to my practice. I understand how cultural values influence views on disability and independence, and I use this insight to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Fluent in several languages, I offer strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, along with a high level of cultural competence.

I also have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals through life skills training and mentoring, helping them build confidence and achieve greater autonomy in their daily lives.

In addition to direct client work, I contribute to the development of digital assessment tools and clinical frameworks that enhance service efficiency and quality. I am actively involved in local authority initiatives that promote strength-based, inclusive approaches to care.

I am available for instruction by both claimant anddefendant solicitors and work across the UK.
